Once again it was a wonderful Speech Day in Rochester Cathedral as we had the pleasure of being joined by parents, governors, guests and Old Roffensians for our annual Prize Giving Ceremony, celebrating the extraordinary talents of many pupils in the school. We were delighted to welcome Hugo Fenwick, former High Sheriff of Kent, as guest of honour. Over 141 prizes were awarded to pupils including academic achievement prizes and awards for outstanding contributions to School life. Fifteen special trophies were presented to Sixth Formers for recognition in areas such as Leadership, Service by Stealth, Kindness and Charisma, Unrewarded Service and Notable Contribution to the Christian Ethos of the School.
The ceremony was followed by tea on the Paddock and the chance for pupils to have one final get together before departing for the Summer - and of course before the Upper Sixth leave King’s for the last time as pupils of the School. However, they will forever be a part of King’s as Old Roffensians and we look forward to welcoming them back. Good luck ORs - we will miss you!
