By Train
On the High-Speed line from St Pancras, journey direct to Rochester is 37 minutes. Otherwise, it is best to travel from Victoria rather than Charing Cross. Make sure that the train stops at Rochester Station. It is then a 10 minute walk to the School. (If the train does not stop at Rochester, continue to Chatham Station and take a taxi (5 minutes). 80 minutes by rail from Gatwick Airport - Gatwick to Victoria, change trains Victoria to Rochester; 120 minutes from Heathrow Airport - via London Underground (tube/subway) to Victoria Station and then surface train to Rochester. 10 minutes from Ebbsfleet (Channel Tunnel via Ebbsfleet).
From Heathrow
By road via M4/M25/M20 motorways and A229 to Rochester. Journey time approximately 90 minutes.
From Gatwick
By road via M23/M25/M20 motorways and A229 to Rochester. Journey time approximately 55 minutes.
Via Channel Tunnel
By road from Cheriton via M20 and A229 to Rochester. Journey time approximately 40 minutes.
Via Channel Ports
Dover via A2/M2/A229 to Rochester. Journey time approximately 50 minutes.

From London
Follow the A2 until you reach the junction with the M2. Do NOT follow the M2, but take the left-hand fork into Rochester and Strood. Keep in the right-hand lane over Rochester Bridge. Straight on at traffic lights at the end of the bridge. First right across the dual carriageway (signposted Castle and Cathedral). Continue across the High Street and follow the road between the Castle and Cathedral.
From the North
Join the northern section of the M25 at the most convenient junction and travel towards and over the Dartford Crossing. Take the A2 turn-off. Follow the A2 until you reach the junction with the M2. Do NOT follow the M2 but take the left-hand fork into Rochester and Strood. Keep in the middle lane over Rochester bridge and go straight on at the traffic lights at the end of the bridge. Take the first right across the dual carriageway (signposted Castle and Cathedral). Continue across the High Street and follow the road between the Castle and Cathedral.
If travelling on the M20, leave at Junction 6 (Chatham A229). At the roundabout take the left-hand lane (signs for Chatham) and travel up Blue Bell Hill, keeping in the left hand lane, go down the hill and at the lights go left, following signs for Borstal (B2097). About three miles from the start of the B2097, some almshouses appear on the left, and about half a mile further on the road takes a sharp right-hand turn marked "All through traffic". At this point turn left into Vines Lane. Turn right at the T-junction at the far end of Vines Lane into St Margaret's Street. Take the next turning on the left and enter the Main School Yard on the right-hand side opposite the garages.
From the East
Join the M2 at the most convenient junction towards Maidstone. Leave the motorway at Junction 3 (A229 Blue Bell Hill) towards Chatham and Rochester. If travelling on the M20, leave at Junction 6 (Chatham A229). At the roundabout take the left-hand lane (signs for Chatham) and travel up Blue Bell Hill, keeping in the left hand lane, go down the hill and at the lights go left, following signs for Borstal (B2097). At this point turn left into Vines Lane. Turn right at the T-junction at the far end of Vines Lane into St Margaret's Street. St Margaret's Street turns sharp left and then sharp right.
