England Shirts for King’s Hockey Players

Five Senior School hockey players are proudly wearing their England Hockey shirts after successfully being selected to play at the Junior Regional Performance Centre (JRPC). The JRPC is a training centre for the U15, U16, U17 and U18 age groups playing County-standard hockey.

Sophie Eldred (U15), Izzy Ramiro (U16), Aspen Cumming (U17), Becca Titmuss (U17) and Josh Skillern (U18) have made it to this stage after successfully getting through a number of assessments, trials and tournaments firstly at local (Medway) level, then progressing to County-level. They are then selected for the JRPC out of every County-level player in the South East. They are now in possession of England shirts which are awarded to players playing Regional standard hockey. Playing at JRPC level means that, for the older players, the next stage could be selection for England trials.

For five pupils in one school to get through to this stage is an amazing accomplishment. Congratulations to all!
