GIRL CATHEDRAL CHORISTERS DAZZLE GERMANY WITH WUNDERBAR PERFORMANCES

Cathedral Choristers Caitlin Spooner-Lillingston (Lower Fifth) and Buyikunmi Ajayi (Remove) have had a busy winter. In December they were whisked off on the Girls Cathedral Choir tour to Aachen, Germany, where they spent four days immersing themselves in the German culture. Their performances at venues including Aachen Cathedral and Annakirche Church were described as ‘superb’.

Such is the success of the Girl Cathedral Choristers that 2017 looks to be filled with wonderful performances. On Saturday 25th February, they have been invited to play the ‘Bach Magnifcat’ concert alongside world renowned choir “The Sixteen”. This will be the Cathedral Choristers second performance with ‘The Sixteen’ in the last three years.

On Sunday 5th March 2017, the Girl Cathedral Choristers will take part in a live broadcast for BBC Radio 4 and also will be recording a special live CD in April.

Cathedral Chorister Scholarships are awarded to boys aged 8 (Year 4) and to girls aged 10 (Year 6). For further information please contact the Registrar on 01634 888590 or email  admissions@kings-rochester.co.uk
