KING'S MUSICIANS DAZZLE RESIDENTS AT MORDEN COLLEGE

Fifteen King’s musicians took a trip to Morden College in Blackheath, London on Thursday  16th November 2017 to entertain the residents with a rich and varied programme of solos and ensembles.

The group began with a humourous rendition of the Wallace and Gromit theme, before dazzling the audience with some stunning solo playing.

Among the soloists, Rachel Cox delivered a haunting rendition of Fauré’s Sicilienne on the Cor Anglais and Fiorella Barbaro performed Chopin’s ‘Minute’ Waltz in Db with great aplomb.

The pupils, staff and parents who attended were generously hosted by the Morden Community and look forward to their next visit.
