KING'S ROCHESTER AWARDED LEAD SCHOOL BY THE BRITISH COMPUTER SOCIETY (BCS)

The King’s Rochester Computing Department has been awarded the prestigious role of Lead School in the network of teaching excellence in Computer Science from the British Computer Society (BCS).

As a Computing At School Lead School:

  • We recognise that Computing as a subject is important, and it is part of the school development plan;
  • We have developed a broad and balanced computing curriculum that shows clear, planned progression;
  • We offer to support other schools in our community through sharing good practise

King’s Rochester will be hosting several events for aspiring computer science teachers throughout 2017 led by the L6th A level computer scientists pictured below.
