King's Music Scholars perform with the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain

Following success at the national auditions this year, King's Music Scholars Edward Hyde and George Crawford have been performing with the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain (NCO) over the Summer break.

The NCO is Great Britain’s premier symphony orchestra for children. The orchestra provides children a life-changing experience with training from top professional musicians. The performances are renowned for their intensity, vivacity and commitment, but above all their professionalism. The Summer Course this year was held at the beautiful Port Regis School and included intensive sectional rehearsals with Professional players and full rehearsals with the 100 member strong orchestra.

The boys have returned enthused (and tired!) and have already performied in the Cathedral Brass Group at King's Commemoration Day service last Saturday.
