King’s Pupil performs at Covent Garden with the LCOC

Early in February 2015, Louis Dulanto-Sime (Remove/Year 9) auditioned for, and won, the part of Jaffett in Benjamin Britten's "Noye's Fludde" with the London Children’s Opera Company (LCOC). "Noye’s Fludde” is a Chester Miracle Play set to music by Benjamin Britten for adult and child soloists, children's chorus, professional instrumentalists and children's orchestra. It recounts the biblical story of Noah, the Flood and the Ark. It is a one act Opera and Louis played the part of Noah’s Son Jaffett, which was first performed by Michael Crawford in June 1958. Over the past year, Louis has worked incredibly hard, rehearsing in Dragon's Hall,  Covent Garden with the conductor Oliver Gooch (Royal Opera House) and Kathleen Shanks (LCOC Musical Director).

Over the weekend of the 23rd and 24th January 2016, he successfully performed in the production at St Paul's Church, Covent Garden to excellent acclaim. We congratulate Louis for his hard work and success in this ambitious and high-profile project.
