LONDON PULSE LEAD KING'S PRE SEASON TRAINING

At the start of January, the preseason netball training for Prep and Senior School pupils was held at King's Rochester Sports Centre.

After requesting a coach from London Pulse - a new Superleague netball team, the girls were overjoyed to discover that not only would they be sending Chiara Semple, GA for London Pulse and England Under 21's and Kira Rothwell GA/WA for London Pulse but also Ama Agbeze, the England Netball captain.

Last year saw Ama's team the Roses win the Commonwealth Games and just pick up two top awards in the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards.

The three players ran an masterclasses over two days focusing on attacking and defending. All the girls had a great time developing skills, and were able to learn from the best. This is a great way to start the Netball season.

Sam Pembroke, Head of Netball, said: "We applied to London Pulse for a coach but never dreamt we'd get the captain, It has shown the girls at this level the pathway they can choose. The Commonwealth Games has played an important part, especially to see the Roses amazing win."
