NEWLY REFURBISHED BOARDING ROOMS OPENED

Three newly refurbished boarding rooms in School House, the boys’ boarding house at King’s Rochester, were officially opened by Principal Mr Jeremy Walker on Friday 19 January 2018.  These are the first bedrooms to be refurbished as part of an 18 month programme covering every boarding room in the house.

Mr Walker, Housemistress Mrs Rogers and the boarders were able to take the time to thank the in-house team of school maintenance staff who have been working extremely hard to reconfigure rooms, run new electrics and pipes and refit windows before the new carpets and furniture were installed.

Phase Two is now well underway with an expected end date for the whole house to be completed by Easter 2019.   The boys are thrilled with their new rooms and the others are eagerly awaiting theirs!
