STUDENTS CONTEMPLATE JOURNALISM IN A POST BREXIT/TRUMP WORLD

On Tuesday 29 November, the annual Andrewtide Scholars' lecture was taken by Tim Luckhurst, an experienced British journalist and the founding head of the University of Kent's Centre for Journalism.

He spoke about the era of 'post-truth politics' and the role of the media in a Brexit/Trump world.  His lecture was captivating and gave the Scholars plenty of things to think about and to ask questions about at the end of the session.

The lecture coincides with the annual Callover Service at the Cathedral, when the Scholrs and those on the Foundation attend Evensong.

It was a very worthwhile and fulfilling afternoon.
