King's Under-11 rugby squad provided a curtain-raiser before the top of the table London South East 2 League match between Medway RFC and Maidstone Rugby Club at Priestfields on Saturday. The players from King's and the Medway U11 team entertained a large crowd in bitterly cold conditions and both squads are to be applauded for their performance.
King's pack dominated the first-half, but handling proved difficult in the cold conditions and only Deji's try separated the teams at half-time. A narrow pitch frustrated King's attempts to move the ball wide, while the defences were well-drilled.

King's performance earned the plaudits of Medway's coach, and the 20-0 victory showed that the team is in good shape before contesting the Fledgling Cup at Junior King's Canterbury.
