Woodard Musician of the Year Finals

Woodard Musician of the Year Finals

What a stunning afternoon of music was enjoyed by an audience of parents, teachers and musicians on Saturday May 10th at the Woodard Schools Musician of the Year finals held at St John's Smith Square!

King's Senior finalists Anna Crawford (Cello), Amelia Chambers (Voice) and Prep, Henry Skillern and Raphael Janssens (Voice), George Crawford (French Horn) and Edward Hyde (Trombone) were not victorious on this occasion but gave wonderful performances in their disciplines and thoroughly deserve our congratulations. They did King's proud! At his summing up, Adjudicator Paul Harris, Head of Keyboard at the Royal College of Music, praised every performance and said that everyone performing in such a strong final was a winner and that he was sure he would be hearing many of the names on the programme again in a professional capacity.

Well done team King’s!
