In October 2017 all Preparatory School pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6 were entered into the National SumDog Maths Challenge.
Each child had a target of 1,000 Maths questions to answer during the course of the week, appropriate to their ability. Out of the 4,704 classes that were entered, King's Preparatory School achieved the following results:-
Year 5 (set 1) – 6th in the country.
Year 6 (set 1) – 33rd in the country.
In addition, 47,670 pupils took part in the competition. Many congratulations to our top three pupils who achieved the following positions:-
Rayhan Hossain – 1st in the country answering 999 questions correctly out of 1000.
Himanshu Upreti – 2nd in the country answering 998 questions correctly out of 1000.
Nathaneal Matarutse – 26th in the country answering 985 questions correctly out of 1000.
