  • From London
    • Follow the A2 until you reach the junction with the M2. Do NOT follow the M2, but take the left-hand fork into Rochester and Strood. Keep in the middle lane over Rochester Bridge. Straight on at traffic lights at the end of the bridge. First right across the dual carriageway (signposted Castle and Cathedral). Continue across the High Street and follow the road between the Castle and Cathedral. Satis House will be on your right at the top of Boley Hill, or follow the road to your left for Main School Yard.  Please note that on Saturdays the High Street is closed to traffic on Saturdays. On this day, stay in the right hand lane on bridge and take the first right onto the Esplanade. Take the immediate first left onto Castle Hill and turn right at the bottom of the hill. Satis House will be on your right at the top of Boley Hill, or follow the road to your left for Main School Yard. 
       
  • From the North
    • Join the A2 signposted Canterbury. Follow the A2 until you reach the junction with the M2. DO NOT follow the M2, but take the left-hand fork into Rochester and Strood. Keep in the middle lane over Rochester Bridge. Straight on at traffic lights at the end of the bridge. First right across the dual carriageway (signposted Castle and Cathedral). Continue across the High Street and drive up Boley Hill between the Castle and Cathedral. Take the first left onto Castle Hill and when arrive opposite the Cathedral turn right up Boley Hill and continue with previous directions. At the top of Boley Hill, at the junction with St Margaret’s Street, turn right and continue straight ahead, through the white pillars, into the precinct of houses. Satis House is on your left with parking opposite. Please note that on Saturdays the High Street is closed to traffic. On this day, stay in the right hand lane on bridge and take the first right onto the Esplanade. 
       
  • From the West
    • If travelling on the M20, leave at Junction 6 (Chatham A229). At the roundabout take the left-hand lane (signs for Chatham) and travel up Blue Bell Hill, keeping in the left hand lane. Take the second exit off the roundabout and go down the hill. Turn left at the lights – signposted Borstal (B2097). About three miles from the start of the B2097, some almshouses appear on the left, and about half a mile further on the road takes a sharp right-hand turn marked "All through traffic". At this point turn left into Vines Lane. Turn right at the T-junction at the end of Vines Lane into St Margaret's Street. Take the next right into The Precinct and Main School Yard or continue past The Precinct along St Margaret’s Street and take the next left (where the road forks and turns sharply right) for Satis House.
  • From the East
    • Exit M2 at Junction 3 (A229 Blue Bell Hill) towards Chatham and Rochester. At the next roundabout follow signs for Borstal (B2097). About three miles from the start of the B2097, some almshouses appear on the left and about half a mile further on the road takes a sharp right-hand turn marked “All through traffic”. At this point turn left into Vines Lane. Turn right at the T-junction at the end of Vines Lane into St Margaret’s Street. At the junction with Boley Hill on the bend, turn left onto Boley Hill and continue straight ahead, through the white pillars, into the precinct of houses. Satis House is on your left with parking opposite.
