Sixth Form Taster Afternoon
Our Principal, Mr Charles and our Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Miles warmly invite you to experience Sixth Form life at King's during our Taster Afternoon on Wednesday 26th January 2022.
Starting at 1:00pm, you will be welcomed to King's by Mr Charles before heading off to join in three A-Level taster lessons. We encourage you to choose three subjects in which you are interested in studying and we will create you a personalised time table for the afternoon. You can make your selection on the booking form below.
The lessons will run for approximately 30 minutes each. Although they may seem short, they will offer you a great insight into the subjects you have chosen and how Sixth Form at King's differs from traditional education.
We will be hosting a range of entertainment for parents to enjoy whilst the lessons take place, alternatively, you are welcome to pop out and enjoy the local area and historic Rochester.
Following the Taster Sessions, families are invited to enjoy a tour of the School, specifically, the Sixth Form classrooms, study centre, common room and for those interested in staying with us, our two Boarding Houses. After which there will be refreshments with our Heads of Department, Head of Sixth Form, The Principal and Registrar who will be delighted to answer any further questions you may have.
Please book one ticket per pupil.
